Lullaby to my father tells the story of Munio Weinraub Gitai, father of filmmaker Amos Gitai, young student of the Bauhaus who was expelled by the Nazis because of his Jewish faith. He took refuge in Switzerland where he is welcomed and protected by what was then the largest modern Swiss
architecture firm.
The film takes us through a journey made of personal memories and historival events, unveiling the initiatic path that leads Munio, as a young architect, form Germany to Switzerland Poland and Israel.

Cette étrange vague qui évoque une tranche d’emmenthal fondue, une crêpe, voire pour certains, un « mille-feuilles de difficultés », est un Collège des Humanités, le Learning Center de l’École polytechnique de Lausanne.
